Designed to handle large loads like cranes with up to 40 tons capacity, man-lift booms up to 52 m (170 feet), large drill rigs, and other heavy utility equipment, the Go-Tract 4500 has a ground pressure of just 309 g/cm² (4.4 psi) at the maximum gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR). The Go-Tract offers 3.25 m² (35 ft2 ) more deck space than a Go-Tract 3000. Yet it will fit on a double drop deck trailer.
The C9 Caterpillar EPA Tier 3 engine provides 280 kW (375 hp) and a maximum ground speed between 8 and 10 km/h (6 mph). Microcontroller steering wheel drive and ROPS cabin at maximum GVWR are standard, and there is an empty chassis option.
